"Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words." -2 Corinthians 9:15

I feel like that should be the whole post. I don't have enough comprehensive words to string together for the wonderful opportunities that God has blessed me with. For those of you who don't know, I am in a music ministry group called Sweetwine and we were able to go to the Central Illinois area and sing to dozens of people the good news of Jesus. We had so much fun, singing and spreading Jesus' love I can't help but feel blessed for being given this gift to share to others.

This was the stain glass at the Trinity Church that we performed at on Sunday. My favorite part about performing here was not the actual services themselves but the time in-between them where we were able to sing for both the little kids and the disable adults. There is so much joy to be had with both those groups it was hard to stop singing with them.

While on the road we take a lot of pit stops but by far my favorite are always the ones that involve food! Now reading this it might seem like your worst nightmare to have 14 college students all come in at once, unannounced and all want to sit together but, to me thats just family. It's always loud and hectic no matter how hard we try to be quiet and someone's going to break out into song at least once, but sitting at one table and splitting the same milkshake 5 ways even though someone is sick and someone else is lactose intolerant just makes our smiles grow even bigger. Borscht is always talked about, but never consumed and maybe Joy shouldn't get another cat but we all love her anyway, because that's our family.

Another part of tour is nightly devotions; Connor, Luke and I gave a devotion on thankfulness and had everyone write down one word to describe each day of tour. My words were:

R O S E B U D S

L O V E D. / /

/ / E U P H O R I A / /

these words described how I felt each day which is perfect in a time of thanksgiving. The ROSEBUDS were from a version of highs, lows and God moments. The first full day of tour I was extremely tired because I hadn't slept well the night before but my rosebud, what I had taken away from the day was that God was still able to give me the energy to sing and talk to all the people I met that day. The word LOVED is because Sweetwine is a community that has been through so much with me through college and I feel so loved by them, but especially that night. Finally, EUPHORIA is a word I will used to describe how I felt about the last day of tour there was so much Jesus given and because of that I also felt so filled there is no better word to describe it. I want to use these words to remind myself to be thankful for all the gifts God has given me and maybe you can do that too.
